- Domicile: Pakistani nationals may apply.
- Gender: Unmarried male applicants are eligible.

- Age Limit for Service Candidates: The age limit for Service Candidates (Armed Forces in Uniform Only) is 17 to 23 years.

The candidate must have passed both Matriculation and FSc or O/A Level with at least 60% marks with any of the following subjects (Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry – Physics, Maths & Computer Science, or Physics, Mathematics & Statistics). Candidates of the O/A level are required to submit an equivalence certificate. F.Sc Part-II appearing candidates with at least 60% marks in Part-I are eligible. However, they have to provide a hope certificate.
