Job Description:

  • End to end responsibility of the category including category financial performance management – GMV, Items, Orders, and profitability
  • Responsible for category operational excellence – quality return rate, G2N, TTS, cancellations, etc.
  • Responsible for overall category health: Engagement - drive active seller growth, assortment growth, and seller concentration management
  • Onsite optimization – category page and campaign management
  • Managing Category Campaign calendar & preparing CP campaigns on a proactive basis.
  • Drive stock availability, onsite visibility, and traffic management
  • Drive competitiveness – assortment gap analysis and competitive pricing
  • Eradicate replica and counterfeit activity from the platform
  • Drive assortment health – maximize selling/visible ratio and SKU impressions
  • Review business plans and schedule external meetings to align on targets (new assortment/stock alignment / monthly aspiration setKeep apprised on market trends and developments pertinent to the category including pricing, product launches, innovation, regulatory implications, and consumer trends and behavior
  • Keep management and stakeholders updated on performance and state of the category including oncoming battles and key initiatives through weekly & monthly performance reports and regular meetings/marketing plan / operational plan)
  • Allocate and drive monthly KAM and BM targets
  • Facilitate seller management and seller exchange in liaison with PSC
  • Coach KAM’s and BM’s to pursue and deliver on assigned targets and independently explore avenues of growth
  • Diversify category mix to deliver performance via the channels as decided in the business plan


  • Experience in retail electronics and/or e-commerce onsite merchandising / category management
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Passion for e-commerce and understanding consumer journey
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organised and structured mindset – ability to identify business needs

Eligibility Criteria/Qualification:

  • University degree
