About The Role
Responsible for developing and implementing a robust Trade Marketing plan for the Circle/Region, which will enable S&D team to improve capability and advocacy at the retail channel.
Your Impactful Goals Will Include
- Develop the overall Trade Marketing Strategy and sales cycle planning
- Market Intel and support for Circle and Regions
- Efficient Trade Marketing budget monitoring & reporting and governance model implementation
- Vendor management and liaison with brands and planning teams
- Trade Segmentation & trade Campaign for channel development
- BDO/DSO Planning/Scoping
- Develop plans for Merchandizing and BDO trainings to improve the service quality
- Activation and planning of other engagement activities
- Develop plans to maximize efficiency in the channel and grow business volume
- To have a thorough Business Development plan in place for the entire region
- Working closely with all the stakeholders for roadmap discussions and planning of TM & merchandizing activities with concerned stakeholders
- POC for external stakeholders – Circle Interface for TM planning and Brand functions
- Extending support to Circle segment on implementation of tactical offers based on consumer insights
- Responsible for New TM initiatives and keep track of product update and performance
- Building and keeping track of trade marketing Roadmap and Go-to-Market plans
- Evaluate expected challenges/risks and come up with mitigation strategy
- TM budget planning, discussion with planning for governance model implementation
- Vendor management, BDO/DSO Planning and implementation
- Providing market insights to stake holders which help them to take better business decisions
- Trade execution analysis & future actions based on the outcome of analysis
- Analyze day to day performance of TM & suggesting required changes to effectively achieve the desired results / targets
- TM Governance model to monitor KPIs management
- Identifying strengths and weaknesses of the TM functions and competition analysis
- Special project planning and executions.
- Planning, allocation, management and analysis of Trade Marketing budgets
- Budget governance and controls for spend on specified activities
- New product stream enablement on channel
- Roles within S&D Planning, which are responsible for Trade Marketing planning at national level
- Marketing, Brands & Segments
- Education: Preferably MBA/MCS/BBA/BSC
- Work experience: 3 – 5 years relevant work experience (Sales and Trade Planning)
- Ability to work well in a pressure situation, Self-motivated and flexible
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
- Data Interpretation & Quantitative skills
- Strong in Excel, Words & Power-point
- Telco Business/Distribution/B2B/B2C model knowledge
- Process oriented approach towards problem solving
- Should be able to analyze, understand and recommended solution to complex problem
- Ability to think and come up with recommendations for meeting business objectives
- Organized and can manage several projects and/or activities at a time
