Job Title: Manager Digital Communications

Job Purpose:

  • To analyze social media and provide end-to-end social media listening support
  • Manage, organize and present data from various digital sources developing and delivering both regular and ad-hoc reports for leadership and to help drive decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure utilization of social listening tools for regular reporting of pre-determined key topics and spiking conversations related to Zong
  • Conduct audits of social content to ensure maximum efficacy of creatives used and to ensure correct application of tags
  • Ensure all Digital and Social Media customers’ posts related to any potential crisis are effectively monitored and analyzed for timely corrective action
  • Analyze consumer sentiments on Digital and Social Media and submit daily/ monthly reports
  • Stay abreast on best practices and latest trends in telecommunication, digital marketing, web analytics, SEO, SEM, digital content and campaign management
  • Establish goals and metrics/indicators for success for Zong’s social channels and share regular reporting
  • Create and own the digital/social media crisis communication strategy
  • Manage the community management team and ensure all key relevant customer queries are responded to in collaboration with the customer services team
  • Work closely with different departments and ensure smooth communication to resolve social media queries and crisis
  • Create tailored and effective content for positive narrative building for Zong across social media channels
  • Mapping of relevant influencers and bloggers of the industry
  • Event and campaign based influencer/blogger management reporting

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

  • Masters in Digital communication, MBA Marketing, Masters in Mass Communication and Media or equivalent degree
Work Experience:

  • 5-7 years relevant experience in public relations and communications
  • Proven working experience in Digital Communication, social media listening, campaign management
  • Proven track record of crisis management on social media channels
  • Strong network of media and public relation contacts
