Who is Head of Talent, Learning & Culture?

Head of Talent, Learning & Culture will be responsible to lead Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Performance, Learning & Development, & Employer Branding functions at Jazz.

This role will focus on creating a digital talent factory powered by rigorous talent management strategies to inculcate digital literacy, robust performance management, and employee development programs. This will be followed by engagement and culture interventions while positioning Jazz as the “best place to work”.

The role reports directly to the Chief People Officer at Jazz and has 05 people directly reporting into them.

What does Head of Talent, Learning & Culture do?

Talent Acquisition

  • Design sourcing, hiring, and employee acquisition strategies (inclusive of D&I) to develop the Organization's ability to attract & hire top potential & diverse talent
  • Introduce disruptive Talent practices for ensuring healthy talent pipelines through targeted interventions in required functions (policy, practice, pipeline)
  • Building relationships with key internal stakeholders’ Organizations, bodies, and Institutes
  • Ensuring smooth execution and monitoring (through teams) of Talent frameworks, policies, and processes
  • Ensuring Talent frameworks respond to and align with unique business needs and keep Jazz ahead of market trends
Talent & Performance Management

  • Lead the development and implementation of performance and talent strategy at Jazz.
  • Design, develop and implement (through teams) talent review process that is aligned with Jazz’s People & Organization’s strategy
  • Ensuring achievement of business goals resulting in creating an internal bench of top talent.
  • Support the team in continuous evaluation and mapping of internal sources to build suitable talent/ successors for key roles as per business needs
  • Oversee the maintenance and execution of the Performance Management System, including a comprehensive approach for assessing, planning, managing, and developing the existing talent across the organization
  • Strengthen the talent framework in line with feedback and work towards digitalization of complete talent journeys including actionable outcomes
  • Developing and integrating business performance management practices coupled with zero data loss framework
Learning & Development

  • Build digital literacy across the organization
  • Provide holistic learning and development for the entire organization with the goal of creating a future-proof organization to proactively achieve organization mission/vision
  • Direct the creation and implementation of Talent Development Plans as an output of talent review discussions
  • Continuously upskill the Organization’s leadership and management capabilities utilizing in-house resources and blended learning interventions.
  • Introduce state of the art tools and interventions, talent and leadership evaluations and ensure their linkage to associated development plans
Culture & Employer Branding

  • Design strong frameworks and solutions to drive Jazz’s positioning as a respected and loved employer, internally and externally via a strong value proposition, employer branding & communications framework, employee culture and engagement levers
  • Ensure a culture transformation framework encompassing the employee value proposition (EVP) and initiatives to drive it internally and externally
  • Ensure awareness around the culture and values of Jazz and ensure they are embedded in all processes and practices that drive employee experience
  • Introduce tools and plans to measure and improve employee engagement levels on a consistent basis allowing respective teams to continuously work on focus areas
  • Recommend action planning strategies and maintaining a track to ensure the committed plans are executed and are adding value to the employee experience

  • What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head of Talent, Learning & Culture?
  • 12+ years of broad HR experience including Talent, Learning, Employer Branding and Performance Management
  • Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Professional HR certifications like CIPD, HRCI, SHRM etc. will be an add on
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing high performance teams
  • Seasoned HR leader with strong business acumen and inspiring leadership
  • Ability to take strategic and tactical decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Self-driven and intellectually curious individual, able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders influencing strategic priorities
  • Possesses ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to align Talent, Learning and Employer Branding Strategy with Jazz First Strategy
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes
  • Experience of leading cultural change at an Organizational level
  • Demonstrate experience of thought leadership and the development of innovative approaches to complex problems.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the promotion of equality and diversity
  • Proven capabilities as a senior leader and manager, with a proactive flexible and inclusive management style
  • You are motivated to capitalize on digital platforms for ensuring cost efficiencies
