MCB Islamic Bank is inviting CVs for the position of “Manager IFRS-09 Implementation" based in Regulatory Reporting Department (Risk Management Group) Lahore. Please only apply if you fulfill the criteria mentioned in the job details.

LOCATION: Lahore

 

QUALIFICATION:

Master’s Degree in Finance/Statistics/Business Administration, CA, ACCA or equivalent from HEC recognized/foreign university.

 

JOB PROFILE:

Hands on experience in Lending , Data science, Risk modelling & Analytics. 

 

KEY SKILLSET:

Thorough knowledge of IFRS-09 standard, lending and investment operations of bank, development and usage of statistical financial techniques to develop/validate models of ECL computation, Obligor Risk Rating, Facility Risk Rating etc.

 

EXPERIENCE:

5-10 years in Risk Modelling, Data Sciences, Financing & Investment. 

 

DESIRED SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Knowledge of IFRS-09 standard ( Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), Credit Conversion Factor (CCF))

- Quantitative and validation of IFRS-09 model and to liaison with internal and external stakeholders for the smooth formulation and implementation of model.

- Knowledge for preparation and implementation of statistical models under IFRS-09.

- Knowledge of prudential regulations, IFRS-09 guidelines and other regulatory instructions issued from time to time.

- Knowledge of statistical techniques for time series , regression analysis and econometrics.

- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other statistical software.

- Bank wide liaison with different stakeholder for compilation of data under IFRS-09.

- Providing data required by different stakeholders regarding IFRS-09.

- To prepare presentations for higher management from time to time.

- Knowledge of Islamic Banking based assets and liabilities products.(will be an advantage)
