Position Summary:
This position directs, administers, and monitors company’s travel policies, guidelines, and budgets for businesses and travel agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, Manage and Oversee Company’s National & International Travel portfolio.
- Planning travel accommodations, booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and coordinating activities.
- Ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures related to travel.
- Negotiating preferred and competitive rates with vendors for the best available options.
- Managing and processing all travel-related documentation, including payment invoices, itineraries, visas, travel insurance.
- Managing Company Maintained Guest Houses and ensure best-possible panel of hotels to provide maximum value for organization and internal customers.
- Arranging travel accommodations for business visitors.
- Providing 24/7 support to internal customers in order to avoid/resolve travel related issues and queries.
- Budgeting, Reporting and Analysis of company’s travel portfolio on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis as well as need-based reporting for Management insight.
- Maintaining positive relationships with travel related vendors.
- Researching travel deals and evaluating prices and services.
- Suggest and drive Continuous Process Improvement in assigned portfolio.
- Maintaining a close liaison with all functions of HR & Admin Services.
Required Knowledge & Skill:
- Knowledge of travel management processes.
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors of direct travel
- A basic understanding of Geography.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors of direct travel.
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 6 -8 years experience in travel management.
- BBA / MBA or relevant field
