Job Description:-
Qualifications and Competencies:
• The candidate should possess ACCA/ ACMA/ CA and should have excellent knowledge of treasury and insurance function as well as knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards applicable in Pakistan.
• The candidate should have sound computer skills including MS Office and ERP software, preferably SAP. The candidate should be a team player and should possess good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, treasury, insurance and investment of a large organization or with a bank. The candidate must have experience of dealing with banks for corporate finance/retail operations/LCs/investments, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for various Treasury tasks such as managing investment portfolio, Debt Management and accounting related to investments and debts. Incumbent should be able to work closely with banks. Fund placements in PIB’s, T-Bills, term deposit, Mutual Funds and savings accounts.
• Handling banking relationships and dealing with banks for day to day treasury operations.
• Managing day to day banking activities including cash management to ensure availability of sufficient funds for operations.
• Preparing cash flow projections for short, medium and long term.
• Preparing and reviewing financial models for new projects.
• Accounting and periodic financial & management reporting of transactions in SAP environment.
• Coordination with External and Internal Auditors for completion of audit activities.
• Follow-ups of reconciling items with banks and Mutual funds
• Monitoring collections from customers
• Management funds to optimize interest yield.
• Coordinate with import department for L/C /BG related activities.
• Managing all Insurance arrangements and related activities.
• Managing debt portfolio including Long term loans and trade finance activities.
