Purpose of the Job:
This role is a Cashier who will be based at head office and manage payments and collections both via cash and bank.
Key Responsibilities Continued:
- Uploading payments onto banking portal – for supplies, services and taxes
- Taking confirmation of receipt of funds from vendors
- Keeping track of tax payments
- Disbursing cash for daily office expenses
- Disburse float for onboard catering sales
- Reconcile cash received from onboard catering sales
- Deposit of cash to bank
- Reconciliation of cash on daily basis
Note: The role defined here is not exhaustive and duties and responsibilities in line with the job function may be added from time to time.
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance / Commerce or equivalent.
Experience:
Must be able to handle cash. Prior Experience in proper cash management will be advantageous.
