HBL Microfinance Bank LTD is hiring "Manager Application Security" in Risk Management Department.

Location: Islamabad

Experience Required: 4 to 5 years of experience in Application Security

Qualification:

BS/MS degree or relevant degree in Computer Sciences or information security or cybersecurity

CEH/OSCP/ECSA/CHFI will be considered as added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining security policies and procedures, and for educating and training employees on how to maintain secure application environments.
• Responsible for responding to security incidents and working with law enforcement and other external parties to investigate and resolve any security breaches.
• Overseeing the security of the organization's applications, including web and mobile applications
• Working closely with development teams to ensure that applications are designed and built with security in mind
• Conducting security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Implementing appropriate security measures to protect applications
• Educating and training employees on how to maintain secure application environments.
• Develop and maintain security testing plans (VAPT) and track the progress and present to the management. Create project deliverables/reports and submissions and Management presentations/ discussions
• Develop meaningful metrics to reflect the actual posture of the environment allowing the organisation to make educated decisions based on risk. Produce actionable, threat-based, reports on security testing results
• Act as a source of direction and guidance for the vendor representatives assigned with VAPT and other assessment exercises in addition to the in-house assignments
• Consult all stakeholder to provide guidance and expertise related to Application and infrastructure security best practices in UAT, internal and external VAPT and revalidation activities
• Consult with application developers, systems administrators, and management to demonstrate security testing results, explain the threat presented by the results, and consult on remediation
• Excellent organisational and time management skills  Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
