1- Position: Manager Supply Chain
Qualification: Bachelors/Masters
Experience: 8-10 years
Location: Lahore
Gender: Male
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met
2. Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
3. Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
4. Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
5. Oversee product storage, handling and distribution
6. Use computer software to track goods from origin to delivery
7. Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance
8. Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality
9. Manage and motivate a team of supply chain staff
10. Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
11. Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers
12. Manage and minimize the risks (operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
13. Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector.
14. Work with procurement managers and buyers to source the right products
15. Control manufacturing and delivery processes
16. Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics (or any other) departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
17. Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
18. Monitors and corrects inventory levels to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
Skills:
· Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
· Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time
constrained environment
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Strong sense of time organization and urgency
· Able to work independently and within a team
